Cherish and Glenn | Oahu Wedding Photography

One thing we do know how to do well in Hawaii is throw a party. So when we plan a wedding it’s pretty certain that we are 1) gonna dance and 2) gonna get drunk! Cherish and Glenn have been through pretty much all the formalities and they even have a 3 year old beautiful little girl! So after a very long engagement, Cherish and Glenn decided they should tie the knot this year. But when it came to the wedding, they wanted to break all the traditions. We had a beautiful ceremony at the Crystal Chapel in west Oahu, and the reception was at the Honolulu Country Club. Glenn as emotional as he still is, tried to hold it together during the ceremony procession promising not to shed any tears, but momentarily lost it. The garter toss of course, to the women, married. And the bouquet toss, to the men; the money dance was a fantastic break from tradition with Zsaleigh (their daughter) in a traditional Samoan dance. The kissing requests and mimic games were all different! There was so much love and warmth in the dances especially when Cherish was honored by all the “men” in her life that replaced her late father during the father daughter dance… we were all moved. I love weddings…
